Since Obama has spent twice as much as McCain in this election to get the same results, isn’t it wasteful?

Seems to me, right before our eyes we can see that Obama can’t manage money. Why pay 2 times as much to get the same job done? Not only that, the news media is bending over backwards for Obama and giving him all the free publicity he could ever need.
The phrase “A fool and his money will soon part” was based on a writers experience many years ago when he was at a farm auction and the last bidder bid twice as much as the previous.

I think you’re including Obama’s expenditures battling Hillary in the protracted democratic primary. Since Obama won the nomination McCain has actually kept pace with Obama’s spending, mainly because McCain is accepting public financing for the general election(now) whereas Obama isn’t. So Obama had to conserve his donation money, while McCain has had to spend all of his.

Well Obama was still locked in a close primary race against Hillary up until June and McCain finished in March so of course he has spent more money than McCain. Do you enjoy asking stupid questions?

What is it? $18 billion a month in Iraq? I think anything we spend getting the incompetent, corrupt and greedy Republicans out of the White House is money well spent!
Obama had a long race against Hillary, but didn’t go into debt to win it. McCain is borrowing money now, but Obama is still being funded by huge numbers of small donations.
And it shouldn’t surprise you that the GOP is funded by the evangelicals/religious right and they have and will spend and smear without end.
